Hatred

I absolutely loath the last of the new Star Wars movies (I didn't even see it in the theaters even though I am a sci fi fan). Padme looks so slightly pregnant at the end of her supposed pregnancy that is sickens me. I was twice her size and I only had one baby in me. The girl has the nerve to die of grief over the fact that her husband Anikan Skywalker has turned to the dark side? She just ups and dies even though she has two babies to care for? I hardly think so. It would have been more believable to have her hit by a bus than that. I will not even go into all the ultra cheesy dialogue that plagued the entire prequel series.

This post was brought to you by my husband and his love of cheesy movies.

I have always found it very hard to believe that such a strong-willed character could give up on life just like that. It was a selfish move on her part, if you ask me.

I was hoping that Anakin murdered her with his own hands. That was what I was going for in the end.

Oh well..

One of the things I had told my husband when we were watching those last three movies was that I wish they hadn't taken advantage of all the computer techniques and gadgets and made it look as sophomoric as the original movies. It was very hard to suspend that reality for me.

And I don't care what anyone else says... I would rather meet Darth Vader than Darth Maul anyday.

Can you tell I am a sci fi GEEK!?!?!? LOL!

Dont' get me started on Battlestar Galactica.

Hey, that's funny. I never thought if it that way.

I liked it but the whole tiny belly carrying twins thing bothered me.

I'm with you on the prequel thing, but I saw all of them in the theater hoping that they would get better as each movie went along. That didn't happen.

Still like watching Padme through the series. Did she have dialogue? HA!

Oh, I had such a lot to say after that movie came out.

It makes for funny spoofs, though.

Some of us are of the opinion that when GL is long dead, someone should remake the prequels the way they SHOULD have been.

The problem, I think, is that GL thinks he can direct. And he can't. And also that he can write all by himself, without help. And he can't. And he is surrounded by people who think anything he does is great and don't tell him no.
