Is something missing?

I am at a bit of a loss right now. Tonight for the first time ever Evan did not have to take any medications. He is in the process of being weaned off of his diuretics (right now he gets one dose every other day) and his INR was high on Friday so he is off his coumadin for a bit while his level drops. I am having a hard time shaking the feeling that something is missing.

well, we are all creatures of habit, so it's normal to feel a little odd when steps are missed. sounds like a nice change, though! :)

I understand.

At the end of this month, we are supposed to give up our twice-per-day dosing of Carnitine. I am so scared, what if that has been the magic, silver bullet, warding off all wall-creeping, headachy, clawed hands stuff? Yeah, really stupid to keep the kiddo on a dietary supplement if not needed. But oh I do not ever again want to re-visit last year.

Scary.

I hope it's a good change for all of you, dear :)

You have my pray.

Adwina, this will not be a permanent thing as Evan will be on coumadin for life. So we will have to give him medication at night except when directed not to by his cardiologist.
