The enormous and massive Bloggy giveaway is here again!
I am giving away a set of three DVDs that are not getting any love in my house. We are moving to Kansas in a month (breathe deeply and try not to panic!) and I am trying to get rid of stuff that we do not use any more. You will receive a copy of Franklin and the Turtle Lake Treasure, Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Kids and Good Morning Maisy.
Because there was a sad lack of hand made goods last time I decided to make sure that I give something hand made away again. You could be the winner of a super cute stegosaurus made by yours truly. I knit it for Evan's birthday, but poor Steggie ended up being buried deeply in the stuffed animal basket never to be seen again. I think that he needs a more loving home with a kid that will appreciate him.
Now for the nuts and bolts.
- Please make sure that I have a way to contact you should you win. Make sure that if you don't have an available blogger id that you leave your email in your comment.
- Make sure to read the entire post about the prize and answer the question I ask. Any non complying entry will be deleted with extreme prejudice.
- As always this is open to all readers, even that creepy guy in Iran that goggled a rather weird term to get to my blog.
- Winners will be announced on Saturday.

Aww. Cute! Every time I look at him, he just screams to me to be named "Stubby." But those legs are so cute!
I have to go with the name "Spike!"
You made a very cute dinosaur. I like him. Please enter me in your drawing. Thanks, Cindi
jchoppes[at]hotmail[dot]com
How about Walter? He looks like a Walter.
Thanks for entering me!
Stego-O
Great giveaway! My daughter suggests "cookie pants" and I say "poopy drops" lol. Thanks!
I love the name Malcom. He is so darn cute!
:)
I would call him "Walnut".
Although the stegosaurus weighed about 10 tons, it's brain was only the size of a walnut.
so...maybe we'd call him "Slow-Poke." Not only were they mentally slow, but surely anything weighing 10 tons didn't move THAT fast...
:p
my four year old daughter suggests "blue scale" because he has, you know, blue scales... it's not a very clever name, so i should mention my son has a similar stegosauras that his grandma made... we could have a herd!! just think about it... his own herd...
Stan the Steg.
bubba struck me as a cute name. hope i win!
Bumpy Back. Stubby. Dino.
Not very original, am I? LOL
Let's see maybe Sammy the Steg! Please enter me!!
Bob is always a good name. BTW I moved to Kansas 5 years ago from California and it wasn't as bad as I thought!!
For some reason, Buford comes to mind. But then again, I don't get to name the kids stuffed toys. It's either them or my husband who names everybody... I just get to name the kids :-)
How 'bout "Pickles"?
Pokey because he is big and moves slowly and also because of this spikes. :)
Kittysaur?
I dunno. I'm no good at names (we never name our toys over here! Baby doll, Kitty Cat, even technical dinosaur names, usually!
But I want to enter because I think the little stegosaurus is absolutely adorable, and both my daughter and son just love dinos! And I'm never against a few new movies, either, and those three shows are all tolerable in my house. :)
I'd name him Russ
I actually like Steggie, but I would call him
Extinct
Bumpy!
Simply "POKEY"
Thanks for entering my giveaway!
I like Steggie, but if my son was to name him today he would become "booger"
Stinkysaurus Rocks!
The DVDs look wonderful too.
My youngest would get a kick out of Steggie (I still think that name is adorable!)
Yarnasauras. And how cute is that?
awww Rocky ... Rocky I he is adorable! I so need to knit more toys!
I have four boys ages 1 (twins), 3 and 7 and they are all addicted to dinosaurs in a bad way! That is the cutest thing ever and even if I don't win I want to know how to make him. I asked my boys what we should name him and one said Cuper and the other said cute-a-saurus. Oh, I hope we win this one!
Hmm how about Charlie? The man that named them in the first place was Othniel Charles Marsh. Let's reverse it and name the steggy after the man who named them! haha
He looks like a Sheldon to me, lol.
SO cute!
What a cute dino! I would probably call him Fred. He looks like a Fred to me.
Have you ever seen the cartoon 3...2...1...Penguins? The opening always cracks me up. It says their names are something like Zidgel, Midgel, Didgel (or something like that) then there's a pause and the last penguin's name? Kevin.
So he looks like a Kevin to me.
This is sooo cute! I love knit toys to the point where I am dying to learn to knit myself but I can't find a teacher. I tried to learn how to "cast on" on youtube but it's very confusing to me. Normally I am in intelligent person but I must have a knitting learning disability or something.
I would name the stegasaurus "Biscuit". It conjures up images of a country bumpkin with no teeth. Simple, yet loveable.
Or maybe "Sachi" it means "joy" in Japanese. This would bring joy to my son! Or would it bring him Sachi? Or even Sake, which is rice wine?
That dinosaur better NOT serve alcohol to my preschooler!
I'm pretty sure my son would call him "Blue". He's trying so hard to say that word! :)
"fluffy"? He is really adorable.
Where in Kansas? I'm in Wichita.
stop by and enter my contests sometime!
How about Ziggy? I'm really bad at coming up with stuff like this :)
That is adorable!!
I think he looks like a "Tony".
I'm pretty sure he might be a "Ralph". Because my husband is always trying to convince me to name a child that, and it's NEVER gonna happen. So maybe a stuffed dinosaur will help him feel better...
My email addy is in my blogger profile, just in case I win.
Let's see... how about, Mr. Green Jeans.
ok. so i just called my daughter over and asked her, hey sweety look at this dinosaur. You know whats sad he doesnt have a name...if you could name him, what do you think it would be? and she looked at me then the screen and she scrunched up her nose...and said seriously then ever "Samuel" lol i have no idea...i dont even think she knows anyone with that name.....
amber.marie.keefer@conus.army.mil
I would love to win this and name him George! Please enter me.
taradawnrobertson[at]hotmail[dot]com
How about Lumpy Lyle!
Elaine R
emrosser@shaw.ca
If it were up to me, I'd name him "Yolen" (do you know the kids' author, Jane Yolen? Well this little stego is the same colors as the dino on her book, "How Do Dinosaurs Learn to Count?" - just one in a whole series of dino books she's written).
But I asked my two year old son, and he growled and then started making exaggerated biting motions/sounds. So I guess he'd call him "Rawr-chomp-chomp." Not very literary, but pretty good for a 2 year old, right? :-)

My 4 year old son says he should be named Max. :) Thank you.
of course he needs to be named "poppysaurus rex"...because thats what EVERY dinosaur at our house is named!
I would call him Oliver. I have 4 boys and 3 of them are in-love with dinosaurs. They would love this little guy to death.
How about "Stubs". I think he is adorable, and I have a 1.5 yr old who would give him the bestest home ever! :) And he and my 5 year old daughter would LOVE the DVDs.
julie_ruhlman(at)hotmail(dot)com
my daughter likes the name Godfrey, don't ask me why!
elkmeese(at)yahoo(dot)com
I'd have to go with "Steg" or "Stegs". He's just so cute!
But I like the name Steggie! I guess if I have to pick a name it would be Bart.
I think he should be called, "Stella" ('cause he is really a she).
He looks like a Larry.
thanks!
I have to go with Zach. My 3 year old is in the habit of naming objects after classmates (she recently named her comforter Zach and sheets Isabel. Don't ask)
So, I'm stealing her naming tactics..and you have Zach the dinosaur.
Also...thank you for visiting my blog!
I am also a California girl living in the Midwest. I know just how you feel (deep breathing and all). Good luck. :)
danielle@extraordinarymommy.com
He looks like a "Bubble" to me!
My son suggested peanut-butter-ball.
It's catchy don't ya think?
Supper cute dino!
How about Donald, like Donald the dinosaur. Yeah... I suck at names.
My son suggested Trash, which is also the name of our dog...
Our suggestion is Roary since my daughters stuffed cow is named 'moo-moos'. Thanks!
Siggy? Stan? Stony? I am not good at that!! I would love the DVDs though. I like the dinosaur, too!!
I'm going to name him Fred. He just looks like a fred.
We'd call him Stomp. What a cute little stegosaurus!
miranda_e19[at]yahoo[dot]com
My daughter said his name is Dinosaur Bigly, and that he has two wheels & a long tail.
OK, we'll go with that!
Welcome to Kansas, I'm by Ottawa.
Stewie. Stewie the Steggie!
How about Igguldan? Like a cross between and Iguana and a dinosaur, I don't know ..give me a break, you know how many comments I've left on blogs tonight?
His name should be Fossil...I mean didn't you find him buried?
CUTE!! my boys would love him. He would probably be named Max since my son's favorite show is Max and Ruby!
Cute idea for the giveaway! Lots of kids in my house so they would love those movies! I think his name should be... "Newton" Haha! Newton... :)
Mr.Pickles. He just looks like that name fits! Awesome giveaway! We worship Maisy in this house so we would love to win this prize package! We want to adopt Mr.Pickles!!! :) He would have a good home...
Tina
Lumpy, sorry I was thinking of "Baby Mickey Takes a Nap" that's what he says about his dino.
My kids would love the DVD's and the dinosaur, whose name would be Ruggle.
amenking(at)bellsouth.net
How about Armand the Armored? A very cute creation, indeed!
I am terrible at names, we name everything "Bob". How about "Roar-y"??
I would have to say Eeyore. I mean look at him! He's a dinosaur that looks and moves like Eeyore. How cute he is. I knit too but haven't done any stuffed animals yet. Hopefully some day. I used to live in KS.
Have fun this week with your giveaway. Don't forget to head on over to my site so that you can enter mine too!
What about "Stickle". He sure is cute!
How about Sully the Stegasaurus :D
anastasia_falling@yahoo.com
I would name him Frances. So cute!!!!!
How about Gunf-rever. (Gone forever... It's a dinosaur... Geddit?)

I would probably call him spike. My grandson would love him. Thanks for the giveaway.
Hmmm...I will have to go with Bob. That is what my kids name everything. Enter me, please!
My boys named him "Blueberry"
Thanks for the chance to win.

We love Maisy!!!
And for the dino, I'd say call him "Stu." In honor of Stewart, what my mom told me my name would've been if I'd been a boy. (Phew!)
Thanks! ( meg.wilson@gmail.com )

The dinosaur's name is Clarence. Seriously, look at him. He IS Clarence. Right? Right?
I honestly think his name is Fred. Just Fred. Nothing fancy, nothing too wild....just FRED!
Thanks for a fun giveaway! I think my boys would really enjoy the DVDs...and Fred! :D
