It is the first day of a bright shiny new year filled with possibilities. 2007 was a good year for my family. It was quiet, with no surgeries or serious illnesses. It was filled with visits from family and visits to family. There were some frustrations, my husband did not get the promotion that he had anticipated getting. In the past year both boys have grown and matured so much.
This upcoming year is filled with so many possibilities. We are very likely facing a major move. It will be my first time moving with kids in tow, so it will be new territory for me. There is still a lot of knitting that I have in mind. I know that the boys will be getting bigger and learning even more things. I joined the Blog 365 marathon, so you will be hearing from me every day this year. You can use old fashioned paper to blog if your computer is not available (I believe that my ancestors called that a diary or some crazy thing like that) so when we move I will be able to keep up even if you can't read it.
I hope that you had a fun evening. We celebrated by staying at home and watching our recently purchased season of the Simpsons. I finished the first sock of a pair that I am knitting with some rather pricey hand painted sock yarn. The results are amazing, the colors are beautiful and the yarn is so soft. Have I said yet how much I enjoy knitting?

Happy New Year! I'm looking forward from hearing from you 365 days! :)
Yay for a healthy year! May all the years to come be so :)
Moving with kids is more challenging than not, but it also makes it an adventure. It can be done and when you get there ... the kids motivate you to get it all done quickly!
Knitting is swell eh?
I think I may have figured out you love knitting. :-)
And a move is such a big deal. I can't even imagine doing it with kids in tow. Here's to a new year of possibilities!
Happy New Year! Wow, you are quite ambitious to sign up to blog every day this year! Good luck, and looking forward to reading you! :)
Happy New Year!!!
You are so optimistic that I think you surely must have some of that optimism to share. ;)
happy New Year Awesome!
Hope you and the family will have a terrific 2008.
I have tagged you on a meme (remember those ooh, so 2006ish!). C'mon, lets here what you can say about "7 weird/random things about me".
love to you!

writing on paper. that is so 90's. ;)
Happy New Year to you and yours!
Good luck on the 365 days thing!
Happy New Year!!
Happy 2008! Here's hoping it's even better than 2007.
Since I've become a professional mover (sorry, military wife that is :))I've discovered that moving with kiddos isn't that much different if you plan it right. We've moved with Meg 5 times now and it's tough but can be lots of fun. The best part about it is that since you have the kids with you it's a good excuse to see the sights on the trip to your new location. We've seen so many more things since we've had Meg in tow because we wanted her to experience new places. And if you need to borrow a portable DVD player let me know and I'll ship it out. It's saved us some headaches, especially going through Arizona, Mississippi and the Carolinas.
Any idea about where you're going to? We found out yesterday that we're going to Oklahoma City.
Liz
