Yikes!

It is flipping hot here! Last night I broke one of my long standing rules. I swore that I would never let one of my kids go to bed with any sort of liquid to drink, but with this heat I was worried about Evan drinking enough water. At Evan's cardiologist appointment I was given strong encouragement to make sure he stayed well hydrated in the Kansas heat. Who knew that this advice would have to be applied so soon, before we even left the state?

Evan was such a good kid that he had a hard time breaking the rule. He automatically put the sippy cup down before he went upstairs to go to bed. We had to tell him several times that he could take it upstairs with him to bed.

Any way, the heat has melted my brain a bit. I present to you a meme. I am such a slacker that I was tagged by Tama almost a month ago and am only now getting to it.

SCATTERGORIES...It's harder than it looks! Erase my answers, enter yours, send it on to 10 people including the one that sent this to you.

That;s funny, Mine would be L but I guess that would be more difficult to answer with that initial?

I really don't know what to think about this hot weather. A few days ago it was in the 60's here and then yesterday I think it might have been 100. We had a park day play date and all of our kids had beat red faces and all of us moms thought we would die of heat.... I'm really not ready for the summer. It's supposed to spring UGH!

Very fun. Good think your first name isn't xandra!
It's warm here, too. Last week was 50s and today we'll possibly hit 90. What happened to spring?!

Oh, I used to play that game!

I don't think I'll participte right now, though. I am so behind in my blogging!! Lance has been napping less, and it seems that suddenly there's so much more to do than there was before!

I enjoy reading these lists but my brain isn't working fast enough this morning to do it myself.

Yeah! It has been so long I forgot I had tagged you. You did great. I hope things aren't too hectic with the whole moving project. I have moved about 35 times in my life, most without any mishaps or difficulties. However, if I had to try to pack up and move from this house we have been in for seven years--YIKES!

Eeek about the heat! I hope it will cool off a bit for you so you can get on with packing without melting into a little puddle.

I think that the game might prove impossible for me - can't think of many V things!

Maybe you could send a degree or two of heat our way because it's been pretty chilly again here for the past few days and I am fed up of it.

I can't do this - I'm corrupted, because my real name and my blog name both start with M...

Ok, so I have a question for you. I've heard it is illegal to put a christmas gift in the mailbox for the mailperson, and that it might be illegal to even give them a gift. Can I give my mailperson cookies at Christmas, or any other time?
