I am in love!

Awhile back I switched to Firefox as my primary browser. I had heard that it was much better than Internet Explorer but had been too lazy to find out on my own. I now wonder why the heck it took me so long. Firefox is awesome!! It has tons of extensions ready for download so that you can completely customize your browser with tools that are useful to you.

As if that was not cool enough a new version of Firefox came out. It has spell check! So when you are typing a comment on someone's blog it automatically checks your spelling for you! No special spell check program needed. Now you can look like a spelling genius. So if you are still using the ultra lame Internet Explorer you really ought to give Firefox a try. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

OK, so is the spell checker an add on? Because I apparently HAVE the new version, but I have no spell check...

I don't think it is an add on because it did not show up before I upgraded to the new version. When I misspell a word a red line underlines it and if you right click on the word a correct spelling will snow up.

hehe I adore firefox, even on a mac!

I have had the spell check extension forever! I love it!

I haven't switched to Firefox because my husband does school online and is required to use IE. For those of us in this or a similar situation, there's ieSpell, a free spell checker add-on that you can use to check your posts on forums and blogs and all. And you can create a customized dictionary by adding words that you use but that aren't in the standard dictionary, so it won't keep telling you your friends' screen names should be something else. ;)

Firefox is the only server I can use for my blog; stupid IE always boots me off!!!

I loved Firefox for a few months now. IE kept locking up on me. It is even better since they added spell check. The only problem is that when I did a wash of my system it deleted some (most) of my bookmarks. That sucked a great deal.
