Mommy helping Harry get the hang of the whole finger painting thing
Evan dove right in
Evan also decided to see if the paint was something good to eat, hence the blue on his lips

I am not sure that Evan is really cut out for the whole artistic thing. He seems to peter out pretty quickly when provided with any sort of art supply (note the scarcity of paint on his pumpkin). He is not a kid that will sit and color for hours.

What a great idea for the pumpkins... we attempted the carving thing and with two little ones, they would have had a lot more fun finger painting.
Very cute!!
Our pumpkins this year consist of the one DA did at young men's (you can only imagine: nose ring, pumpkin gore mohawk, gooey icky thing sitting on my front porch), and the one I am baking right now for the chili cookoff tonight... I'll try to post some pictures sometime!
Lovely pumpkins!! (And you're so brave letting them do it themselves!)

hehe awesome idea to paint the pumpkins! They look like they are having a blast!
great idea! Those are great. It looks like everyone had fun...
Evan is adorable - I don't think I've ever seen a picture of him before. :) The pumpkins turned out cute!
Looks like a fun time painting! I like Evan's painted lips ... cute!
I think not being content to sit quietly for a period of time doing something is definately a boy thing (in my experience, anyway!).You're not alone!
I like the pumpkins and love the photos!
Such intensity on Evan's face. Maybe he exhausted his attention span with concentrated effort?
Harry looks devilish, wicked smile on those blue lips!
Thanks for sharing!

Oops, that was EVAN with the blue lips? See what a little make up can do? Transformed!
