Monday Cuteness

My boys in their Easter finery (such as it is).

Evan is still calling Mickey Mouse Poopy Mouse. The other day I was in Joanne's fabric, while I was wandering around the store he happened to see a Mickey Mouse patch. He started yelling out in excitement "Poopy Mouse! Poopy Mouse!" Quickly I moved away hoping that removing him from the proximity of the patch would stop him from yelling out. Eventually he settled down but I was so glad that there was no one near by to hear his outburst. I think I may have to try and rename Poopy Mouse.

Wow! I notice that Evan is suddenly a real little boy - he cannot be called a toddler by any means! His face has suddenly thinned out and become boyish! (It's sad when they begin to lose the baby plumpness but you get a glimpse of their future heartbreaking-to-girls-ness which is nice!!)

I like their fine outfits too. My kids like being dressed alike as it happens fairly rarely. Its a pleasure to see such nicely turned out young men, thank you!

(Harry..... Is that finger heading off to your nose again???)

Your boys are so cute! I am a little concerned about the "Poopy Mouse" thing. That could be potentially really embarrassing. Good luck changing his mind! My mother never did get me to quit calling airplanes "Hippies" (I was born in the 60's). I grew out of it finally, but not until I had really embarrassed her several times.

Yoshi used to sort of invert his words, so we had a period in which, when he wanted a shoulder ride, he'd run to Daddy, hold his hands up and yell, "ASH-OLE! ASH-OLE!" Luckily we were in Japan and lots of people didn't understand!

I'm going to be away for a few days helping Seiju move, so things will go quiet over my way, I think....

They look very handsome and so grown up! That happened fast.

A long time ago, my sister got a floppy stuffed bunny as an Easter gift. She was two. She named it "Farty" and took it EVERYWHERE and used that fine name constantly. My mom thought she was going to die of embarrassment. Almost 50 years later, they are all doing fine... though ol'Farty is pretty fragile.

Little kids do weird stuff.

That is so sweet! The are looking so very grown up! That's the kind of Easter outfit for boys we have around here, too. Nothing wrong with a nice polo shirt...
