Harry does sleep very peacefully when he falls asleep while I am holding him.

- Here are a few facts about me: I am married, I have 3 lovely boys and 1 girl: Evan (9), Harry (8), Daniel (4) and Lily (2); I love reading (especially science fiction novels but I do have a wide range of reading interests); I dabble in many different crafts (right now I am into knitting) and I don't floss my teeth every day like I should. My eldest son has a complex heart defect and that has changed my life in so many ways (mostly good).

Ahhh! That is a very cute picture. I miss having a heavy little head snuggled into my neck.......... Now my boys are too big to cuddle whole - I can only get bits of them at a time; and quite frankly the way they are behaving at the moment, decidedly unappealing too!

What a sweet picture. I love love love the name Harry. I used to dream of naming a son Harrison and calling him Harry, then I married a Harrison. So yeah...that worked out nicely.
RYC: Cloth is AWESOME! Like I said, I don't use it exclusively (I can be somewhat lazy at times), but I LOVE having the option of using it when ever I want---like when the funds are low, or I've run out of diapers, or just cuz it's soft on the baby's butt! As far as the wool goes, my friend Jen has made some soakers out of sweaters she got at a thrift store. You gotta felt them first, but other than that, a few stitches, and voila! She'll let you know how to do it, if you want her link.....let me know!

I agree with Vicky. I also miss having sleeping babes on me. But mine are also in a decidedly rude, and loud phase right now, where cuddles from mom are few and far between. Sigh.
